MENTAL HEALTH & WELLNESS SERVICES IN CHELSEA, MI | TELEHEALTH PROVIDED STATE-WIDE

The New Therapist-in-Training (NTT) Program is a structured two-year (minimum) clinical development pathway designed for Limited Licensed Master’s Social Workers (LLMSW–Clinical) in Michigan who intend to build full-time clinical careers and earn the Licensed Master’s Social Worker–Clinical (LMSW–Clinical) credential.
The program integrates supervised clinical practice, formal didactic training, peer learning, and reflective practice. It is built to meet or exceed the supervision and experience requirements set by the Michigan Bureau of Professional Licensing (LARA) for LMSW–Clinical licensure, and to operationalize the NASW Standards and Indicators for Cultural Competence in Social Work Practice (2015) and the NASW Standards for Clinical Social Work in Social Work Practice.
Becoming a clinician is a developmental process. Some weeks will feel exhilarating; others will feel like you have no idea what you are doing. Both are normal. The structure of this program— hours logged, sessions tracked, reflections written, competencies reviewed — exists to give you a steady scaffold while the inner work of becoming a therapist unfolds at its own pace.
In-person, hybrid and telehealth-only formats are available for any therapist in the State of Michigan. In person office is in Chelsea, Mi.
This proprietary program for therapists in training offers an above-average fee split than industry standard. We believe in supporting the future generation of high-quality therapists.
This is best practice for the humans you will help now and in the future.
This program is about education, skill building, creating a lifelong network of colleagues and friends. It is not about profiting from those in their first two years of limited licensure.
